Needs 4 batteries, and it needs a little preparation to bend all strips into the right shape. The remote control requires a round, flat battery. Over-all quality is good.

Delight! They are exactly like I expected! I ordered two and hung one for each window. During the day they are transparent and not visible at all and at night, it shines a pleasant light, similar to fireworks.
